What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Health & Safety Engineer position at Warman O’Brien?
Warman O'Brien are proud to partner with a pharmaceutical manufacturing company seeking a seasoned HSE Engineer to support Commissioning and Qualification (C&Q) projects at site during a large multi-site construction.
This is a full time onsite opportunity in Wilson, NC with an initial 2.5 year project length starting in April 2025.
Scope of project:
- Develop and update safety protocols, including risk assessments and job hazard evaluations.
- Carry out workplace safety audits to identify and address potential risks.
- Partner with C&Q teams to integrate health and safety measures into routine operations.
- Oversee and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure equipment is properly secured.
- Ensure compliance with global HSE regulations and industry best practices.
Experience required:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
- 5 years experience as a HSE Engineer
- Preference for experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
- Open to experience from Aerospace, Food, Construction, Agriculture, Automotive
- Familiarity with HSE regulations, OSHA and ISO 45001
- Accredited HSE Certifications are sought after
1099 & W2 available
