Your New Role...
Warner Brothers Animation is seeking an Art Director for an unannounced adult comedy series.
The Art Director is responsible for overseeing the design and overall look of the series. They have a knowledge of the Animation Pipeline and help ensure the visual quality of the show is sustainable throughout production. They lead the design team and help elevate the artistic style of the show.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- With producers and leads, establishes the overall artistic vision of the show.
- Executes key production design when needed.
- Oversees the art department. Participates in hiring of designers and in the creation of the general structure of the department and development of the design pipeline.
- Completes show bibles for design and paint style and participates in launching the vendor studio.
- Works closely with production to ensure the scope and scale of design fit within the established show parameters. Reviews episodic design breakdowns and schedules with production. Supervises artists to ensure deadlines are met.
- Works closely with department leads to ensure designs are optimized for overseas production. Participates in thorough QC-ing of designs in preparation for overseas shipment.
- Oversees artists and provides notes as well as corrects work when needed. Is able to provide drawovers for notes and take on design work when needed.
- Participates and gives feedback in asset reviews and dailies. Provides paintovers for assets when needed.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and / or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range : $123,760.00 - $229,840.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
