Your Role Accountabilities...
- Senior Writer serves as the lead writer for the show team. They also fill in for copyeditor and producers, each of our writers is required to produce a high volume of work on a daily basis.
- The Sr. Writer is the lead writer for the show team and a back-up copy editor for the shows they work on.
- They are responsible for completing a heavy load of writing assignments, generally the most important or complex stories. This involves taking a producer's instructions, formatting the script, viewing appropriate graphics and video, and finding relevant source information.
- The Sr. Writers also helps to train upcoming writers.
- Early hours are required for this position.
