A little bit about our team:
The WMX Finance department leads the financials for WMX US and Europe, EMP, Songkick, and Warner Music Group Artist Services and leads interdepartmental teams to significantly improve revenue flow and drive business outcomes.
Your role:
You will support the CFO, WMX to plan and complete the financial strategy across the divisions of WMX and the company as it relates to the consolidation of the financials, handling budgets, forecasts and other business targets, and the standardization and governance of financial policies and procedures.

Your role:
You will support the CFO, WMX to plan and complete the financial strategy across the divisions of WMX and the company as it relates to the consolidation of the financials, handling budgets, forecasts and other business targets, and the standardization and governance of financial policies and procedures.
Here you’ll get to
- Prepares and looks after annual budgets and monthly forecasts with commentary of WMX financial results including variance analysis actuals vs budget; communicates results to departments heads; develops action plans to hit targets where needed.
- Creates and maintains management P&Ls as well as Global Recorded Music Supply Chain cost analytics to identify areas for margin improvements and efficiencies.
- Run the divisional Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
- Responsible for aggregating and data and schedules needed for corporate deliverables.
- Partners with divisions across WMXUS and WMXEU to provide consolidated results and analysis to CFO and corporate finance.
- Liaises with the operators and shared services finance to ensure all revenue, cash, purchase orders and invoices are entered, coded, processed and paid timely; handles new vendor set ups on behalf of the department.
- Provides analysis and consultation in developing new business opportunities and integrations; prepares projections and monitors activity to help drive performance.
- Advises on contract negotiations from a financial impact perspective; including distribution and vendor deals.
- Engages on finance transformation initiatives; builds and be responsible for business processes that will streamline dataflow for maximum efficiency and effectiveness and ensure successful execution of business plans.
- Consistently identifies improvements through replicating standard methodologies, creative and innovative solutions, and setting goals and objectives together.
- Runs financial controls and risk management procedures; recommend data flow and controls improvement
- Proactively develops ad hoc reporting and analytics to provide beneficial insights to management
- Represent WMX in finance transformation programs
- Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to work with contacts are at all levels of the organizations
- Proven track record to enhance operational efficiency and provide excellent customer service.
- Proficient knowledge of GAAP and related financial reporting requirements and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build alignment for initiatives and programs
- A "" or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university is required.
- 7 years of accounting or finance experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalency preferred
- Proven experience a plus
