Your role:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling & ad hoc reporting and data analysis/interpretation in support of operations for Warner Music Nashville.

Job Title: Sr. Analyst, Finance
Your role:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling & ad hoc reporting and data analysis/interpretation in support of operations for Warner Music Nashville.
Here you’ll get to:
- Prepare file for monthly P&L forecast process, including populating actuals from most recently closed month and updating projections based on YTD actuals for review with finance leaders
- Includes gathering revenue information from various sources, preparing draft JV P&Ls to estimate JV expense, gathering royalty rates to estimate royalty expense, incorporating release schedule, etc
- Prepare deliverables to Corporate Finance, including physical projections, revenue forecast aging report, P&L commentary, for review with finance VP
- Track actuals throughout the month and provide updates on actuals compared to forecast and budget for various revenue buckets
- Prepare and update monthly artist P&Ls for executive leadership team
- Own processes for all non-recorded music/non-licensing revenue checks received, including tracking receipts and following up with necessary parties
- Track marketing invoice/PO requests throughout the month and reconcile with month-end activity; follow up with requestors on discrepancies
- Prepare T&E budgets on an annual basis and track spend during the year against these budgets
- Prepare open invoice, PO, and T&E accruals during month-end close for review and approval by finance VP
- Prepare a host of other reports, analyses, summaries on an ad-hoc basis
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years’ relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business is required.
- Strong analytical skills;
- Strong computer skills, knowledge of Hyperion and SAP a plus, proficiency using Microsoft Office’s Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications;
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build partnerships with client groups;
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently and effectively while working under pressure; and
- Ability to manage multiple assignments at any given time and prioritize them effectively and appropriately.
