Warner Norcross Judd is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our Business Development Marketing team in Grand Rapids. This role is responsible for updating the Firm’s website, assisting with marketing materials, coordinating internal and external communications, and supporting firm events. The Marketing Assistant also contributes to departmental initiatives by providing administrative assistance and collaborating on special projects that enhance the Firm’s visibility, brand consistency, and client engagement. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, able to manage time effectively, and enjoys working on a variety of tasks in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
About the Opportunity
Responsibilities:
• Assist with website content updates, including formatting and posting press releases, articles, and announcements.
• Develop and distribute electronic communications using the Firm’s eMarketing platform.
• Coordinate external printing of marketing materials and maintain inventory of promotional items and printed collateral.
• Maintain marketing-related pages on the Firm’s intranet, including attorney resources (e.g., letterhead templates, license and language skill directories) and the firm calendars.
• Post daily internal content (e.g., quotes) and firm events to internal systems and external platforms like TerraLex.
• Gather, analyze, and report performance metrics from digital platforms, including Google Analytics, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Conduct SEO efforts to enhance website performance and search visibility.
• Schedule and manage attorney photo sessions; format and update images for the website, LinkedIn, webinars, and marketing materials.
• Supporting the Firm’s ERM/CRM system by maintaining accurate contact records.
• Collaborating with external PR agencies to ensure accurate distribution of firm news.
• Assisting with attorney award nominations and recognition submissions, including collecting client testimonials.
• Assisting with client events including webinars and seminars.
• Providing general administrative support to the Business Development Marketing Department, including document preparation, filing, shipping logistics, and cross-departmental coordination with other firm departments.

About You
Experience, Education and Training
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suites required
• Familiarity with social media required
• Previous experience in a professional services firm preferred
• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
• Proficiency in Adobe suite of services, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign preferred
• Familiarity with Knowledge Management System preferred
