Warner Norcross Judd is seeking a Practice Development Manager to join our Marketing Business Development team in Grand Rapids or Detroit. This role provides strategic support to practice and industry group leaders to deliver exceptional client service and guides practice groups to stay focused on and achieve their strategic goals and objectives.
About the Opportunity
Responsibilities:
Practice & Industry Group Management
- Develop and implement strategic business plans for assigned practice and industry groups.
- Collaborate with practice and industry group leadership to create agendas for regular meetings and manage action items.
- Identify topics and opportunities for seminars, coordinating logistics with the Events Manager.
- Support the implementation of business development activities in partnership with Business Development Managers.
- Supervise and direct the Practice Group & Proposal Development Coordinator.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Business Development team on special projects as needed.
Experience Database Management
- Manage the Firm’s experience database (Deal & Cases) linked to the external website.
- Collaborate with client service managers and teams to draft and finalize descriptions of Warner’s work on behalf of clients.
- Oversee the process of posting new experience summaries on the website and other marketing materials, including proposals and sales documents.

About You
Experience, Education and Training:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5-7 years of professional experience
- Experience in a professional services environment preferred
