The Senior Director of Engineering Operations will lead and optimize our engineering operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational excellence. This role will oversee the Scaled Agile program, stakeholder management, financial schedules, cost management, technical product management, M&A integrations, and continuous improvement of program KPIs.
Overview of Responsibilities :
- Scaled Agile Program Management :
Lead the Scaled Agile program agenda, including quarterly planning meetings.
Ensure effective execution and continuous improvement of Agile practices, monitoring and managing adherence to program cadence.Stakeholder Management :Build relationships across the organization to support Product and Engineering portfolio management processes and alignment
Collaborate with Product Management to coordinate stakeholder management meetings.Drive attendance and active participation in quarterly planning events.Financial and Audit Coordination :Work with Finance and external audit teams to maintain Capital Expense and R&D schedules.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements.Cost Management :Partner with the VP of Platform Engineering and VP of Product Engineering to develop a FinOps style program.
Implement team-owned cost management as products transition to the AWS cloud.Technical Product Management :Collaborate with the VP of Platform Engineering to build out a Technical Product Management competency.
Develop a 2-3 year hiring roadmap and budget proposal in advance of FY26 annual planning cycle.M&A Integration :Coordinate M&A integration projects across Product, Engineering and Analytics teams.
Ensure seamless integration and alignment with company objectives.Support KPI Improvement :Work with Helpdesk and Production Support teams to improve KPIs such as TTFR, MTTR, and CSAT.
Support the development and maintenance of an SLO / SLA program.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.10 years of experience in product and engineering operations or a related field.Proven experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile methodologies.Strong financial acumen and experience with Capital Expense and R&D schedules and accounting.Experience with AWS cloud cost management and FinOps practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience with M&A integrations and technical product management.Compensation :
Salary Range : $175,000-$225,000Actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education and / or skill level.The salary range is the range Warner Pacific in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role. at the time of this posting.
