What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appliance Repair Technician position at Warners Stellian Co Inc?
With Warners' Stellian being a family owned company, Repair Technicians are a crucial position. In this role, you will work with different departments, and work with customers ensuring that we are providing the best customer service. You will travel across the twin cities, troubleshooting and repairing appliances in customers homes, giving you a new environment to work in every day. You'll use your mechanical knowledge and continuously expand your skill set by working with over 50 brands of appliances.
A life in the role of a Field Repair Technician will include:
- Repairing appliances at customers residences
- Keep company vehicle stocked and clean
- Maintain communication with supervisor and CSD staff
- Have proper documentation of all work orders
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Ability to communicate professionally with vendors and customers including handling payments
- Maintain and be responsible for all tools (training and work tools are provided)
What You'll Bring:
- Professionalism on phone and in person with customers
- Able to operate a vehicle
- Able to communicate professionally
- Understanding of product and parts
- Understanding of WS policies and procedures for communicating with customers and vendors
You'll Need:
- Appliance Repair Certification
- 2 years experience in technical role is desired but not required

- Heavy Lifting (Lift up to 600 lbs with a dolly)
- Able to pass a DOT physical
- Must successfully pass 5-panel drug test plus THC testing
- Physically Fit

- Performs other duties as assigned
Pay:
$24-31 per hour plus bi-weekly incentive plan once fully trained in.
