Position Overview:
As a Vinyl and Wrap Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of vinyl wraps, decals, and graphics on various surfaces, including vehicles, windows, walls, and floors. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools. Candidates must have previous experience with vinyl installation and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install vinyl wraps, decals, and graphics on vehicles, windows, walls, and other surfaces.
- Measure, cut, and fit vinyl materials to match design specifications.
- Prepare surfaces for vinyl application by cleaning, smoothing, and ensuring proper adhesion.
- Use tools such as heat guns, squeegees, and utility knives to apply vinyl smoothly and accurately.
- Perform high-quality installations with attention to detail, ensuring flawless finishes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to installation, such as air bubbles or misalignments.
- Maintain an organized workspace, including tools, materials, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the design and production team to ensure accurate installation.
- Ensure all projects meet company standards for quality and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service during on-site installations, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures when handling materials and operating equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance and upkeep on installation tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in vinyl wrap installation, vehicle wraps, or a related field is required
- Knowledge of vinyl materials, application techniques, and tools (e.g., heat guns, squeegees, etc.).
- Ability to measure and cut materials with precision.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues during installations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with large-format printing and cutting machinery not required, but is preferred.
- Aesthetic eye for clean, professional installations.
