Warped Wing Brewing Company is looking for a passionate and driven Brand Representative to grow our presence in the Columbus market. This role focuses on expanding our brand in on-premises (bars, restaurants) and off-premises (retail) accounts through strategic sales, relationship building, and promotional events. The ideal candidate has experience in beer sales or a related industry, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the craft beer market. This position requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion & Account Acquisition:
- Identify and acquire new on-premises (bars, restaurants) and off-premises (retail) accounts.
- Create and execute strategic plans to increase market penetration and achieve sales goals.
- Account Management:
- Foster strong, long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Maintain a regular call frequency plan to ensure high-touch engagement.
- Product Introduction & Promotion:
- Launch new brands and packages effectively to drive sales and visibility.
- Organize and lead promotional events such as beer dinners, tap takeovers, and tastings to boost product awareness and loyalty.
- Education & Training:
- Conduct training sessions for account staff to enhance their understanding of Warped Wing products and improve customer experience.
- Serve as a resource for account management teams, providing expert insights into craft beer trends and offerings.
- Reporting & Coordination:
- Track and report on sales performance, account activity, and promotional efforts to the Sales Director.
- Collaborate with the marketing and distribution teams to align goals and initiatives.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in beer sales (wholesale, supplier, or retail) or a related industry preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building rapport and trust.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to dynamic work environments.
- Residency in the Columbus area.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Physical capability to lift 20lb beer cases and 150lb kegs.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Comfort with mobile technology and reporting tools.
