Join our culinary team as a Kitchen Crew Member and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a member of our kitchen crew, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen while upholding high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food quality.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and instructions.
- Assist in cooking and grilling menu items, ensuring they are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Support the team at various kitchen stations, including the grill, fryer, and prep area, by maintaining a clean and organized workspace and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Assist with dishwashing duties, including cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and ensuring they are properly sanitized and stored.
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries, rotating stock, and conducting inventory counts to ensure adequate supplies are available for daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas, including cleaning surfaces, equipment, and utensils, and disposing of waste properly.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen crew and communicate effectively with chefs, cooks, and servers to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols, as well as company policies and procedures, to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's operating hours.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
