Description
Summary
The Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing opening and / or closing duties in the absence of the Taproom Manager or Assistant Taproom Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role involves leadership during scheduled shifts, enforcing company policies, and maintaining high standards of customer service. While clocked in as a Shift Leader, this is a non-tipped position. Outside of these shifts, the individual works as a bartender or server in a tipped role.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Opening and Closing Duties
- Ensure all opening and / or closing procedures are completed accurately and on time, including setting up the taproom for service or securing the facility at the end of the day.
- Verify cash handling processes, including counting tills and preparing deposits.
- Conduct walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, stock levels, and readiness for service or end-of-day compliance.
