RDA or DA - Orthodontic Assistant willing to train!!

Warren & Chima Orthodontics is currently looking for a new RDA or DA to assist our forward thinking team! We are in a beautiful neighborhood located in the West Portal area of San Francisco. Located on the out skirts of the city giving you an easy commute to work. We believe in the latest technologies and pride ourselves in a highly organized office. Our systems of organization and patient care are developed by the entire staff. Full-time schedule with no weekends offered with a family friendly atmosphere and a schedule that provides life work balance!

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual that is self-directed and able to communicate well with patients and co-workers plus possess the want to help grow our business while having a positive personality. Prior Ortho experience is highly preferred but willing to train only if candidate has all the needed requirements listed below and the right personality. Individual will as well assist with sterilization as needed.

POSITION HOURS: (Set schedule with no modifications to the hours listed below)

Monday – Thursday 8am - 5:15pm

Fridays 8:00 – 3:00pm (work 1-2 Fridays/month)

REQUIREMENTS:

• RDA license preferred but willing to train the right DA with a future of becoming an RDA (Must obtain RDA within 6-months)
• Proof of California X-ray license and CPR certificate required
• 1 years orthodontic chair-side experience highly preferred but willing to train
• Live in a reasonable driving distance of work
• Positive attitude with a sense of humor!

Orthodontic Assistant (RDA/DA) duties but not limited to:

• All aspects of clinical orthodontic assisting such as tying and untying ligatures, fitting bands, impressions, setting up to bond brackets, OSHA management, trying in appliances, etc. and all other orthodontic duties as needed. (Some duties listed above are for RDA licensed only)
• Taking orthodontic records.
• Sterilization as needed.
• Maintaining standards of infection control.
• Adhere and flow all practice policies and rules withing the employee handbook.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
