SALARY: Salary Table L. Salary Range as per Board approved Salary Table.
CONTRACT: 260 Day (52 Week); 7.5 hours per day.

- Higher education coursework in technology or enrollment in formal technology program.
- Working knowledge of technical repair of computer hardware.
- Experience in repair, upgrade, and installation of technology hardware and software.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology or related field(s).
- Certification in any of the following: Microsoft, Cisco, CCNA, CompTIA A , etc.
- Experience in working with servers
- Experience in working with network switches and wireless infrastructure.
REPORTS TO: Associate Superintendent and Supervisor of Technology.
DUTIES:
- Works under the direction of Associate Superintendent, Supervisor of Technology, and building principal.
- Provides onsite technical assistance, troubleshooting, computer repair, printer operations, and preventative maintenance for each building as part of District’s maintenance schedule.
- Maintains and troubleshoots building telephone system, PA system, security cameras, classroom audio and video/projection systems.
- Communicates in a timely manner, with Supervisor of Technology, building teacher and/or principal by email, phone, or in writing, diagnosing the problem and estimating time for repair.
- Identifies parts needed for repair of equipment and provides information in writing to the Supervisor of Technology or their designee.
- Acts as a liaison between the District and vendors to deal with equipment warranty issues.
- Monitors and updates helpdesk requests and computer repairs by serial numbers at each building.
- Monitors and updates building hardware and software inventories as directed.
- Assists in the implementation of a systematic plan for technology upgrades, replacements, software updates, etc.
- Assist in the construction, implementation, and monitoring of the District’s Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) and wireless network.
- Assists with the installation and integration of new software applications and emerging technologies within the District.
- Abide by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of The Warren City School District Board of Education.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Associate Superintendent, the Supervisor of Technology, building principal or designee.
