Job Overview
As a Correctional Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within correctional facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise inmates, enforce rules and regulations, and ensure a safe environment for both staff and inmates. Duties
- Monitor inmate activities to ensure compliance with facility rules and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility, including common areas, cells, and visitor areas.
- Utilize CCTV systems to observe inmate behavior and identify potential security threats.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, applying first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, inmate behavior, and daily activities for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to maintain order and security.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills in conflict management and crisis intervention.
Experience
If selected, all training will be conducted after the candidate is hired with full pay and benefits.

Pay: $23.12 - $35.06 per hour
