What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Maintenance Worker position at Warren County Agricultural Society?
Overview
This is a seasonal position from May-August. This temporary employee will be assisting the Warren County Fairgrounds Maintenance Manager.
Duties
- Mowing and trimming around the 90 acre property
- Providing maintenance to mowers and other equipment
- Set up and tear down of facilities for the Warren County Fair including lifting and carrying large metal gates
- Set up and tear down of tables and chairs for events
- Maintaining a clean, welcoming environment throughout all buildings
- Power washing, painting and small carpentry projects may arise
- Perform all other related tasks when asked
Requirement
- Full availability July 7-20 for the Warren County Fair
- Ability to operate machinery
- Must possess a current, valid driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
