What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian/Janitor--South Lebanon position at Warren County Community Services?
- Cleans restrooms, classrooms, small kitchen, and offices including sweeping, mopping, removing trash, etc.
- Sanitizes toys, mats, chairs, desks, and playrooms daily.
- Maintains stock and supplies, ensures facilities are prepared for staff and children.
- Completes less-frequent cleaning tasks such as stripping/ waxing floors as needed.
- Documents services, observations, supply use, etc. and reports these to supervisor as needed.
- High School or GED.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Practical experience in cleaning.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with staff, families, and children.
- Highly motivated and self-disciplined to carry out responsibilities with little supervision or direction.
- Ability to perform physically, including continuous or frequent heavy physical exertion, such as lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, or bending, stooping, pushing and pulling.
- Work-life integration: no weekends, no on-call.
