What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Warren County DD?
Assists in setup of new computers and peripherals. Educates users on software usage and best practices. Provides instruction for self-service tools and resources. Performs basic diagnostics on hardware issues, coordinates repairs or replacements of faulty equipment. Tracks and manages software licenses and compliance. Utilizes desktop tools to assist users with issues. Provides guidance for troubleshooting over the phone or via chat. Maintains inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software. Assists with ordering and stocking supplies and equipment.
Receives repair requests for all buildings and vehicles via e-mail, text, and phone, seeks to gather as much pertinent information as possible, submits work order request in Zoho. Assists with onboarding new employees including keys, access cards, alarm codes, electronic devices, and phones. Makes keys and lock cores as needed. Tracks and issues building/CHAP home keys, alarm PIN and door access cards. Monitors and maintains inventory of keys, cores, and door hardware; re-orders stock as needed. Prepares surplus items for auction, posts surplus items on Govdeals and communicates with potential buyers to answer questions and coordinates pick up with successful buyer. Tracks and orders custodial supplies. Participates in the interoffice mail run rotation (pony run).
Receives general public, office visitors, administrative officials and follows office procedures. Answers incoming calls for the general office number; distributes calls as needed. Distributes mail into staff mailboxes.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.83 - $19.35 per hour
