Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensed in the state of Ohio (LISW, LPCC, or equivalent preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mental health services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of CARF and OHMAS accreditation standards.
- Strong understanding of billing practices and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
General Description:
The Supervisor of Mental Health Services is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality mental health services within a school-based setting. This role ensures compliance with CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) and OHMAS (Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services) accreditation standards, manages billing processes, and provides leadership in the onboarding, training, and supervision of mental health staff.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Compliance & Accreditation:o
Ensure all mental health services adhere to CARF and OHMAS accreditation standards.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to support accreditation standards.
Prepare for and participate in accreditation reviews and inspections.

Billing & Financial Oversight:
Oversee billing processes to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
Monitor billing practices for compliance with state and federal regulations.
Collaborate with administrative staff to resolve billing discrepancies and issues.
Provide training to staff on proper documentation and billing procedures.

Staff Onboarding & Training:
Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new mental health staff.
Design and deliver ongoing training sessions to ensure staff competency and professional growth.
Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health services.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
4.
Supervision & Leadership:
Provide direct supervision and support to mental health staff, including counselors, therapists, and support personnel.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Address staff concerns and promote a positive work environment.
Facilitate regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
5.
Program Development & Evaluation:
Collaborate with school administration to develop and enhance mental health programs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of mental health services and implement improvements as needed.
Promote awareness and understanding of mental health issues within the school community.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as responsible, intelligent human beings.
Helps instill in students that belief in and practice of ethical principles, tolerance, and democratic values.
Conducts other duties related to the Director of Mental Health Programming and/or the Superintendent of Schools.
