QUALIFICATIONS
48 Hours or more of college credit/Score 456 or better on Paraprofessional Praxis test. Demonstrate aptitude or competence for assigned duties.
REPORTS TO
Principal/Director of Attendance/Director of Technology
JOB GOALS
To assure the smooth and efficient operation of the school's attendance office so that the office's maximum positive impact on the education of children can be realized.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- 1. Performs usual attendance office routines.
- 2. Have the computer skills necessary to adequately complete job responsibilities.
- 3. Maintains such student records as shall be required.
- 4. Maintains a daily student attendance log, and the student attendance records.
- 5. Schedule, through the principal, students and processes all changes and adjustments in student schedules throughout the school year.
- 6. Maintains student sign-in/sign-out logs.
- 7. Prepares and distributes attendance related letters and information to parents.
- 8. Performs other duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Eleven month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
