CWI / NDT Level II UT Inspector
A Heavy Steel Plate Fabricator seeks a Certified Weld Inspector / NDT Level II Ut Inspector.
We cut and produce precision parts for the structural, power generation, and mining industries to precision machining. Our team depends on your skill to inspect quality parts that achieve fit, form, and function for specialized industries and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process and final inspections using visual and NDT techniques such as PT, MT, and UT in accordance with company, industry standards, and customer specifications.
• Maintain proper certifications and training to comply with NDT methods and testing.
• Ensure project specifications and inspections are completed accurately and on time.
• Properly markup dimensions or welds that fail NDT methods.
• Create bubble drawings and AP forms.
• Report non-conforming material and corrective actions to the shop supervisor and Director of Quality Assurance.

Requirements:

• CWl certification and experience performing NDE inspections.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in fabricating inspection with a concentration on weld examination.
• Ability to read and interpret detail assembly and installation blueprints.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
