At Warren Fabricating, we are seeking a skilled and certified CWI / NDT Level II UT Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our fabricated products.
Job Description
The CWI / NDT Level II UT Inspector is accountable for conducting visual and NDT inspections, including PT, MT, and UT, in accordance with company, industry standards, and customer specifications. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with quality management system
- Maintain proper certifications and training to perform NDT methods and testing
- Evaluate project specifications and inspections for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and submit reports according to project requirements
- Identify and document non-conforming material and implement corrective actions
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in fabricating inspection with a focus on weld examination
- Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) and NDT Level II UT certification
- Excellent knowledge of blueprints, drawings, and measurement tools
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
