What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Aide - Evenings/Nights position at Warren General Hospital?
We're seeking a detail-oriented individual with a passion for cleaning. This is a casual/as-needed position that could lead to a full-time opportunity down the road!
GENERAL DUTIES:
- High Dusting horizontal and vertical surfaces
- Disinfect surfaces with approved germicidal cleaner
- Must follow directions of cleaning chemicals correctly and use safely
- Removal of all municipal, infectious and chemotherapy waste from work area
- Dry mop and wet mop any tile, vinyl or concrete flooring
- Vacuum and edge clean carpeted areas
- Cleaning patient discharge beds and stands. Make bed with clean linen
- Clean, Maintain and Operate all equipment in a safe manner (floor cleaners, sweepers, shredder)
- Remove and replace cubicle curtains or draperies
- Strip floor finish from tile, vinyl or concrete flooring
- Apply floor finish to tile, vinyl or concrete flooring
- Must be knowledgeable of hospital, departmental and infection control policies
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School education or equivalent
Pay: $12.93 - $15.46 per hour
Schedule:
- Evenings as needed
- Nights as needed
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Shift availability:
- Day Shift (Preferred)
- Night Shift (Preferred)
- Overnight Shift (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
