What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometrist position at Warren General Hospital?
Warren General Hospital is an award-winning, independent community hospital located in northwestern Pennsylvania and we are hiring a full-time Optometrist to join our team! This position is in a hospital-owned, outpatient office open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm (no weekend hours).
The Optometrist will be expected to perform a combination of comprehensive eye exams for adults and children and medical exams for eye injuries, with the ability to pursue specific interests like specialty contact lens fitting or low vision. We currently have 2 providers and 8 staff members. Our Ophthalmologist performs cataract surgeries with specialty lens options and intravitreal injections. We have a full-service optical shop with contact lenses, an excellent inventory of frames, and low vision aid supplies.
