We are seeking a Social Media Intern for the 2025 summer!
The Social Media Intern will assist with the end-to-end photo and video production process from planning, shooting, editing and posting content on all social media platforms. They will work alongside the marketing department and gain valuable marketing knowledge while holding the responsibility of producing high quality imagery and videos for the use of our dealerships on our social media channels.
Responsibilities
- Produce creative photos and videos that clearly communicate an intended story to the Warren Henry Auto Group followers.
- Assist in the concept, creation, development and design of social media postings.
- Ensure the quality of images produced is consistently high quality and creative.
- Collaborate with Marketing Department to ensure all images fall within the Warren Henry Auto Group brand guidelines.
- Learn our customer and social audience inside and out to help inform our social strategy.
- Engage in search and response opportunities to expand the reach of the brand in socially relevant and appropriate dialogue.
- Create assets for the Content Curator to schedule several posts per week and per month.
- Manage responses to increase engagement with social media users.
- Constantly to build content for our social media channels.
Qualifications
- Must have excellent writing skills and proficient on social media platforms (specifically LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook).
- Working knowledge and experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom.
- Valid Driver License and clean driving record as this role requires travel between dealership and event locations.
- Must have a passion for social media and photography with a creative mindset that shows in all images and videos on a daily basis.
- Must have the confidence and knowledge to suggest new social strategies to the marketing department.
- Ability to meet firm deadlines, multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Flexible part-time schedule.
- Strong graphic design knowledge is a plus.
