What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrator in Training position at Warren Manor?
Position Summary:
Administrator-in-Training completes the required hours and training as outlined by the State Licensing Board while assisting the Administrator in directing the overall operations of the care community in accordance with current local, state and federal regulations governing long-term care in-order to ensure the highest level of quality care is provided to each resident.
Position Responsibilities of an AIT:
* Must meet job related competencies as outlined in the Skills Competency Manual
* Assists in guiding the care community according to local, state and federal regulations
* Completes required hours in each Department as directed by the program approved by State Licensing Board
* Effectively communicates with residents, families, staff, visitors and vendors
* Ensures that care community and surrounding grounds are kept in good repair
* Communicates to the Administrator areas of concern and assists in implementing policies
* Assists with the QA process
* Maintains professional competence and keeps abreast of changes in the long-term care profession
* Assists in supporting operations throughout facility as needed
* May serve in a Department Head role during times of turnover or training
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must hold a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (OH), (PA) preferred.
