The Training Specialist Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the development and implementation of technical training programs; including assessing needs, designing, and delivering training sessions and evaluating effectiveness.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop, plan, and deliver training programs to give students a broad and in-depth knowledge of engines, heavy equipment and / or soft skills.
- Design and update training materials to ensure alignment with industry standards and company goals.
- Coordinate scheduling of classes, based on availability of classrooms, equipment, and instructors.
- Ensure classroom and training equipment are well-maintained to support effective learning.
- Audit technical training courses for accuracy and modify as needed.
- Ensure Continuous Improvement of trainers, including continuing education, learning plans and maintenance of current certifications.
- Monitor effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, feedback, and performance assessments. Generate reports on training outcomes, attendance, and effectiveness for leadership.
- Exhibit professional behavior with internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.
- Review and approve expenses as needed.
- Supervisor responsibilities which include carrying out duties in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, as well as interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to stand, walk, and meet activities are required frequently throughout the workday. Normal sight or corrected vision is required to read documents and use standard computer terminals. Work may involve moving or lifting of light to moderately heavy materials or equipment requiring physical strength and agility to withstand the strain of manual work.
