Visual Art Specialist - Warren-Walker School (PK - 8th)

We are seeking passionate and caring individuals to join our team as a Visual Art Specialist.
Warren-Walker School is looking for a qualified individual to create and deliver engaging, integrated art instruction to students in Kindergarten-5th Grade, fostering their creativity, artistic skills, and appreciation for the visual arts.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate art curriculum and lesson plans
- Teach a variety of art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
- Provide individual and group instruction to students with diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain a safe and organized art studio environment
- Manage art supplies and equipment effectively
- Organize and display student artwork in school exhibitions
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into other subject areas
- Assist Middle School Art Teacher as needed
- Effectively communicate student progress with parents
- Participate in school events and activities
- Supervise recess, student lunch, and/or arrival/dismissal
- Stay current with best practices in art education
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Art or a related field
- Experience in art instruction or a related field
- Knowledge of various art mediums and techniques
- Ability to develop and implement engaging art curriculum
- Effective classroom management strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This is a full-time, benefits eligible position starting August 2025.

Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
