Our Buildings & Grounds Department located in Slingerlands, NY has a Full Time 40-hour Buildings & Grounds Technician II position available. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30 pm which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The range of pay for this position is $18.25-20.33 per hour. This is an hourly position which includes a floating on-call requirement and overtime per agency needs. This position will provide maintenance that will include plumbing, carpentry, and electrical.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. To secure and maintain all certifications and trainings required by WWAARC. At least 2 years of experience in buildings or grounds maintenance, preferred. Must have a strong background in at least one of the following areas: plumbing, basic carpentry, painting, basic electrical, building and equipment repair, or grounds maintenance. Physical requirements: Job is a manual labor position, and employee is required to stand, lift, kneel and bend regularly throughout the day, both indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions. Employee must be able to regularly lift 50-75 pounds with or without accommodation.
