Our Supported Employment Program (SEMP) in Albany, NY, has an Employment Specialist position available. This is a Full-Time hourly position working 35 hours Monday – Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm. Evening and weekend hours as needed to support the people on your caseload at their work site. The Employment Specialist rate of pay is $21.00 per hour, and this is an hourly non-exempt position. This position will provide direct support to people seeking employment. You will assist the people on your caseload to develop a resume, conduct job searches, prepare for interviews, and provide onsite job coaching to support the person in maintaining successful employment in the community.

- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must have personal vehicle to use for providing services.
Employment Specialist-ACCES VR

- To secure and maintain all certifications and trainings required by WWAARC. This includes but is not limited to 1st Aid & CPR & Decision Driving.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field and experience working with individuals with an intellectual or development disability in a vocational setting OR Associate’s Degree in Human Services or related field and 1 year of experience working with individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability in a vocational setting.
- Must have personal vehicle to use for providing services.
