What we need!
This role is a vital part to our team and will be responsible managing the front end of the Service Department and our Technicians. This position will work closely with Service Advisors, Parts and Technicians to ensure daily operations are progressing efficiently and effectively. One will be tasked with being in the Service Advisor role (as a Senior Service Advisor), the main contact for the dealership and customer for service related items, connect with customers on open recalls and/or service opportunities and follow up with customer on their visits. The ideal candidate would need to have a positive attitude, be flexible, detail oriented, organized and possess strong communication skills.
What will you do everyday?
- Work closely with the Parts Manager and Shop Foreman to ensure service is running smoothly.
- Greet customers and schedule their service needs.
- Assist with any escalated customers and resolve issues effectively and efficiently with our company moto in mind; We Put People First.
- Write service, check in service appointments, update customers on the status of their vehicle and close our service tickets daily; collect payment when applicable.
- Follow up with service customers the day after their appointment to see how their visit was and to ensure they fill out a survey.
- Assist with the Parts Department when needed.
- Assist with submitting and processing warranty claims in a timely manner and ensure funds are collected accordingly.
- Reach out to service customers about open recalls and/or other service items to schedule them in and create more revenue for the department.
- Be prepared to perform other duties and/or projects assigned by Management.
Are you the right candidate?
We are looking for someone with....
- 5 years of experience in a dealership Service Department environment.
- 2-3 years of management expereince
- 3-4 years of customer service experience, retail, call center and/or dealership.
- 1-2 years of phone experience in a call center, office or dealership setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be successful in daily tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft (Word and Excel), email use, multi-function phones, basic computer skills and office equipment.
- Must be able to take direction and follow processes.
- Must be willing to submit a background check and able to check motor vehicle report (good driving record) prior to employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $5,000.00 - $12,000.00 per month
