The Maintenance Technician (emphasis in construction) is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, construct, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the company and sites business goals and objectives.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and all company equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during times of operation and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment during machine service.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
Administration of other technology solutions within the company including smartphones, tablets, terminals, POS systems, Google Workspace, and others.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment while performing standard work tasks.
Service and maintain a variety of company-owned properties, including such duties as salting and snow-plowing lots, shoveling and/or clearing outdoor walkways of snow or debris, mowing/brush-hogging/weed-eating grass, skid load work, cleaning truck parking lots, setting and maintaining farm tanks, and assisting with other property maintenance as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Facilities Director.
Immediately advise proper authority of any complicated maintenance or construction problems.
Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor on construction sites.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements.
Paint walls and surfaces and perform drywall repairs as needed.
Install and repair structures such as walls, roofs, floors, tile, cabinets, etc.
Clean and prepare sites for construction work and remove debris after completion of the project.
Adhere to all city, county, state, and federal regulations pertaining to the proper operation of equipment, chemical usage and storage, hazmat requirements, and maintenance of facilities, including but not limited to, Health and Building code requirements.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust as required to ensure complete fixes.
Establish priorities for maintenance work according to company needs to best contribute to overall company profitability.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Advise the Company of any actions/situations that pose a threat to any employee, customer, or guests.
Observe safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
Perform other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
Class A CDL License is required.
Manufacturing experience; hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC preferred, but not required.
