Regional Branch Manager

Regional Branch Manager – Minot, ND ($140,000 - $160,000 Benefits)

Function

Provide management of all construction related work for Electrical and Construction Services projects in Western North Dakota’s Bakken region and surrounding towns in the area. The successful candidate will carry out business development activities and strategies, maintain existing clients, identify prospective clients, hire and train construction personnel, and manage project-related tasks.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

· Assist in developing short and long-term plans for future growth and development. Including recruitment of direct reports.

· Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients

· Participate in strategic planning activities.

· Oversee and direct the administrative and support functions of the group

· Coordinate and update the Director of Field Operations and General Manager on regional related items.

Business Development

· Maintain strong knowledge of industry practices and developments to provide insight in projecting areas of business development with existing clients and identifying prospective clients.

· Determine the percentage balance of project selection and diversity

· Develop, implement, and process proposals

· Procure work, approve estimates, general conditions, and fee agreements

· Provide cost estimates, budgets, and schedules

· Select appropriate construction methods for the job and budget

Supervision

· Responsible for the coordination of contractors, monitoring progress of field work to insure construction complies with drawings and specifications

· Insure compliance with QA/QC by supervising onsite field management

· Explain contracts and technical information to employees

· Hire subcontractors and manage subcontractor relationships

· Collaborate with clients, engineers, inspectors, and other building professionals.

· Participate in initial negotiations for project, give clients regular progress updates, and submit budget reports

· Site visits to ensure progress and quality of work, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise. Ensure project meets all building and safety codes

Basic Qualifications

· Associate’s degree in Construction Management or related field.

· 10 years of experience in supervisory role in heavy industrial, construction services, or electrical field.

· History of experience in business development, strategic planning, and project management

· Strong communication skills

· Ability to read plans and specifications

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field

· Experience with pipelines including fresh, produce, and oil

· Experience with building, steel, concrete construction

· Electrical qualifications and license
