Inside Sales plays a key role in the performance, function, and success of the Sales team. Key metrics to that success will be organization, communication, and managing expectations for our external customers as well as internal support of team members.
Responsibilities
- Submit proposals directly to customers in a professional and grammatically correct manner.
- Follow up on quotes via the combination of phone and email, including, but not limited to, one business day after submitting to the customer. Additionally, following up on all quotes until there is a change of status (won, lost) in order to maximize sales opportunities or to close deals. Discussions and questions with customers are to be specific, targeted, and with a purpose including setting the next step in the process in order to secure orders.
- Communicate with management on relevant daily sales follow-up information in order to maximize sales opportunities, improve sales growth, communications and productivity.
- Receive and review customer Purchase Orders for errors, omissions, accuracy, and requested delivery dates and communicate corrections to customers as needed. Coordinate reviews with Managment when required.
- Enter reviewed and correct customer Purchase Orders into Warrior's Sales Order system, as required, to facilitate a successful and timely start and handoff of all Sales Orders to the Operations team.
- Maintain a positive, upbeat, and results-oriented attitude to help support the Sales teams and Warrior's success in winning work.
- Provide daily feedback and directions to the Sales team, Estimating team, and Engineering interface team members as appropriate, with opportunities and ideas for improved efficiencies, communications, and more sales.
- Perform any miscellaneous sales-related tasks and functions as directed by management.
- Minimal travel will be required at various times and directed by Management.
