Full Job Description
Warrior Precast LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prestressed Production Technician to produce custom order concrete walls and other concrete products. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our concrete products from preparation to shipment. If you have experience in prestressed concrete production and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Clean concrete forms and prepare them for custom orders.
- Secure panels, accurately insert door and window frame outs, and customized frame outs.
- Insert rebar and insulation accurately.
- Re-check form setup and ensure placement accuracy before pouring concrete.
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete to specifications.
- Strip finished products and repair any damaged products.
- Load products for shipment and clean facility equipment.
- Follow safety instructions and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to manually lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow specific directions
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to operate table saw, radial arm saw
- Ability to use basic concrete hand finishing tools and screeds
- Ability to read shop prints and translate information into actual performance
- Ability to accurately read tape measures
- Ability to hold privileged communications and information confidential
- Punctuality and reliability concerning work schedules
- Willing to work as required to accomplish company sales goals
Experience Requirement:
- Prestressed experience preferred
Education Requirement:
- High School diploma.
- High School graduate-level math skills
