Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of our organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, can navigate the nuances of government contracts, and is passionate about driving financial strategy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities, including month-end and year-end closings.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage DCAA compliance, indirect rate structures, and incurred cost submissions.
- Lead the development of indirect cost proposals and pricing for government contracts (FAR compliant).
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements, audits.
- Monitor cash flow, revenue recognition, and cost allocations.
- Collaborate with program managers and executive leadership to support contract performance and financial health.
- Maintain internal controls and support risk management practices.
- Supervise a small finance or accounting team (or coordinate with outsourced support, as applicable).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a government contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, FAR, and DCAA compliance.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and present insights to leadership.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing company.
