Join Our Team as a Part-Time Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant – Day Shift (7 AM–3 PM)
Warsaw Meadows Care Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility in Warsaw, IN .
Position Details :
Shift : Daytime, 7 AM–3 PM.
Hours : Part-time, 20 hours per week.
Requirements : Must be available every other weekend and cross-train in the laundry department.
Responsibilities :
Follow established housekeeping and laundry procedures.
Handle soiled linens by placing them in washing machines, folding or hanging, and delivering clean personal items to residents' rooms.
Organize and store clothing in closets and drawers.
Assist with industrial equipment, including floor buffers and washers.
Address minor maintenance tasks, such as fixing leaky faucets or replacing light bulbs.
Lift and transport heavy objects as needed, spending most of the shift on your feet.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinating orders through the manager or supervisor.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, or a related field preferred.
Familiarity with cleaning supplies and equipment.
Must be 18 years or older to apply.
