Join Our Team as a Part-Time Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant – Day Shift (7 AM–3 PM)
Warsaw Meadows Care Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility in Warsaw, IN.
Position Details:
- Shift: Daytime, 7 AM–3 PM.
- Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week.
- Requirements: Must be available every other weekend and cross-train in the laundry department.
Responsibilities:
- Follow established housekeeping and laundry procedures.
- Handle soiled linens by placing them in washing machines, folding or hanging, and delivering clean personal items to residents' rooms.
- Organize and store clothing in closets and drawers.
- Assist with industrial equipment, including floor buffers and washers.
- Address minor maintenance tasks, such as fixing leaky faucets or replacing light bulbs.
- Lift and transport heavy objects as needed, spending most of the shift on your feet.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinating orders through the manager or supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
