Title of Position – Subject Matter Expert in HHP524: Advanced Regression Modeling
The Opportunity:
Wartburg College seeks a knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of Health and Human Performance to support the development HHP524: Advanced Regression Modeling in the Master of Science Degree in Sport Science and Data Analytics.

Details:
  • Subject Matter Experts (SME) will be hired on a per-course basis (option of multiple courses) to provide expertise in course content development to create high-impact online courses and ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Anticipated Starting Date: Immediately
  • Timeline: Screening of applications begins immediately and continues until filled.
  • SMEs will design course materials, including syllabi and course outlines that reflect current trends and best practices in the content area.
Qualifications:
  • Education: An advanced degree (doctorate preferred, master’s acceptable) related to the course of interest.
  • Experience: Two or more years of college-level teaching experience; Professional experience in Health and Human Performance-related fields in higher education, research or industry.
  • Expertise: Knowledge in areas such as sports data analytics, exercise physiology, sports management, health promotion, sports nutrition, or wellness coaching.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in teaching and/or curriculum development in the [area of interest], particularly in graduate program development or administration.
  • Experience with online learning platforms and instructional design principles.
  • Involvement in professional organizations related to Health and Human Performance.
