What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bindery Operator position at Warwick Publishing?
Reporting to the Department Lead, the Bindery Operator is responsible for taking live jobs through any necessary cutting and bindery operations as they pertain to Warwick’s workflow. They are also responsible for assisting the customer service department with order troubleshooting, rush prioritization, and non-standard issues relating to their department.
Daily tasks for this position revolve primarily around operating cutting and bindery equipment. This position’s responsibilities are not unique; they are shared between other members of the finishing department.
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week).
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate Guillotine Cutting, Punching, Binding, and Shrink-Wrapping Equipment
- Monitor product at their stage of production for defects or other quality issues
- Assist Customer Service Department in order troubleshooting
- Assist Other Light Manufacturing Departments as time permits
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior experience in machine operation
- Strong attention to written details
- Ability to stand all day
- Work in other Departments as needed

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
