What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Wasabi West Des Moines?
We are looking for a dedicated front house assistant manager to join our Wasabi family in West Des Moines!
We would like someone with a positive attitude who is comfortable communicating with guests and staff in a leadership position, with the ability to influence, mentor and serve team members effectively. Experience in the restaurant industry is required.
FOH management duties include supervising and providing support for servers, bartenders, hosts, and bussers while focusing on guest comfort and preference, as well as being responsible for bar inventory processes, interviews and hires, scheduling, and overall organization of front house procedures. Mangers are expected to be able to perform at all positions as well. The position is full time.
A little bit about us:
Wasabi Waukee opened in 2016. We are a locally owned restaurant serving fresh sushi and pan-Asian cuisine, and have a full bar consisting of liquor, beer, wine and sake. We are the 3rd Wasabi restaurant of 6 total in the central Iowa area, and pride ourselves on our fresh, high-quality dishes and respectable staff.
