Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is in good working order.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate the Toast POS system for processing orders and payments accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during catering events or busy dining hours.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate math calculations when processing payments.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with fine dining service standards and catering operations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations.
