SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

COMPENSATION: $16.25- $20.59 per hour

What's your day like?

As a Part-Time Care Team Assistant at Wasatch Behavioral Health 's SUD Assessment & Referral (SAR) Program, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our healthcare facility. Your responsibilities will include greeting clients with a warm welcome, providing top-notch customer service, and efficiently managing incoming calls. You will have the opportunity to make preliminary assessments of individual needs and urgency for services, ensuring clients are promptly assigned to the most suitable service provider. Additionally, scheduling appointments, receiving payments, and responding to billing inquiries will be part of your daily tasks. Your organization skills will shine as you prepare and maintain client information, charts, and records.

Acting as a liaison for clients, healthcare professionals, and insurance companies, you will serve as a patient advocate and assist in obtaining necessary authorizations. Join us in making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

What you need to be successful

To excel in the role of Part-Time Care Team Assistant, candidates must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential in effectively interacting with clients and colleagues. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• High school diploma or GED; AND Six (6) months of responsible clerical or secretarial experience.

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.

Salary : $16 - $21
