DUTIES as a Case Manager sUPERVISOR
Perform a variety of first-line supervisory and full performance professional duties as needed to provide on-going case management services to chronically mentally ill adults, adolescents, and/or children. Performs Social Service Worker level supportive counseling services and behavior management services including behavior modification & consequence awareness along with direct instruction in skill building. Will oversee the day-to-day operations of an assigned service area, care facility, specialty program, or target client group; provides training, establishes project priorities, assigns caseload, monitors project or client progress; participates in hiring processes; conducts performance evaluations, address and resolves issues or problems by applying established policy, practice and protocol. Develops and implements individualized service plan(s) and behavior contracts for each client based upon their strengths and needs; performs crisis intervention, coordinating with crisis workers, hospital liaison, doctors, nurses, etc., as needed to stabilize critical circumstances.

Monitors patient behaviors and reaction to medications as needed to avoid adverse side affects; receives medical instruction from nursing staff; encourages patients to comply with medication regimen. Monitors client's progress in obtaining financial entitlement and assists the client in advocating for his/her own needs. Serves as legal liaison to the Public Defender and as advocate in court hearings, prepares court reports; participates in treatment team and weekly staff meetings and/or consultation meetings.
Supervisor will need to complets assigned paper work in a timely manner, i.e., service plans, treatment plans, monthly notes of skills development, SAFE notes and service plan; completes case closure processes and documentation.

Special Qualifications:
Must be a licensed Social Service Worker or agency approved under fill. May be required to become a certified Mental Health Officer enabling the issuing of "client pink slips". Must possess a valid driver's license. May be required to have a Food Handlers Permit depending on the program.
- High School Diploma and
- Graduation with a Bachelor's degree in any field
- Completed coursework required by Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing to apply for SSW licensure per Utah Code 58-60-205: Social welfare policy; 2. Human growth and development; and 3. Social work practice and methods.
- And/or are working towards a SSW licensure.

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
Salary : $24 - $31
