Schedule: M-TH or M-F 4-10's or 4 -9's with 1 half day.

Your day to day as a Outpatient Therapist
As a new Outpatient Therapist at Wasatch Behavioral Health, you can expect a rewarding and structured daily routine. You will engage with clients through individual and group therapy sessions, providing evidence-based treatment tailored to their unique needs. In addition to direct client interactions, you will conduct assessments, developing treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, and document progress effectively. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will be key, allowing you to share insights and strategies that enhance client outcomes.
You'll also participate in team meetings, focusing on continuous improvement and innovative approaches to care. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Graduation from a college or university with a Masters degree in social work, psychology or a related field
- Plus recognition as a Certified Social Worker (CSW)
- Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor
- Associate Marriage and Family Therapist or equivalent.
- May be required to obtain certifications in Domestic Violence and NOJOS.
- Candidates should also demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of substance use disorder treatment.
- Experience with substance use a plus
- Spanish speaking prefereed but not required

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
