From HVAC systems to plumbing repairs and cosmetic enhancements, Maintenance Technicians are vital in ensuring resident satisfaction. They are personable individuals with exceptional technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hands-on work.
What you’ll do:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units and common areas.
- Respond to resident service requests in less than 3 hours.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting issues.
- Consistently exemplifying the Wasatch brand.
- Embodying an owner's mindset.
- Picks up debris, litter, and trash on and around community grounds.
- Empties trash bins and maintains and stocks pet waste areas.
- Cleans, power washes and maintains dumpster enclosures.
- Performs exterior painting of curbs, buildings, parking areas and other areas as needed.
- Sweeps, vacuums and power washes breezeways.
- Use multiple tools to remove graffiti, dirt and other debris from buildings.
- Cleans and maintains sanitary conditions of restrooms and washrooms.
- Cleans all entry doors and handrails where applicable.
- Cleans and sanitizes BBQ grills and cooking areas.
- Cleans and maintains mailroom areas.
- Cleans, power washes and maintains golf carts.
- Organizes and maintains pool furniture.
- May pick up, move, distribute, deliver, set up, and disassemble a variety of equipment, parts, supplies, and furniture.
- Maintains grounds keeping equipment and supplies according to company standards and OSHA requirements.
- Closely follows and abides by all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge of duties and assigned tasks.
- Attends all required trainings and staff meetings.
- Contributes to team effort in achieving company goals and standards.
- If in Colorado or Utah, assists with snow removal.

What we're looking for:
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
- Experience in repairing and or maintaining at least most of the following:
- Electrical Systems
- Plumbing
- Appliances
- Flooring
- Carpentry
- Heating and air systems
- Pools
- Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Superior customer service skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies
Benefits and Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $15 - 20 per hour depending on experience, plus quarterly bonus potential!
Candidates starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
