The Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units and common areas, respond to resident service requests in less than 3 hours, troubleshoot and repair various systems, and consistently exemplify the Wasatch brand. You will work closely with your team members to assess and respond to maintenance issues, establishing a solid rapport with residents by being knowledgeable and friendly. Additionally, you will be responsible for becoming an expert in your community and collaborating with your team to ensure that the community is meticulously maintained for the utmost satisfaction of our residents.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience, experience in repairing and maintaining various systems, including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, heating and air systems, and pools, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies, is also required.
