Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the technical aspects of our apartment communities run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units and common areas, responding to resident service requests in less than 3 hours, troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting issues, and consistently exemplifying the Wasatch brand. You will work closely with your team members to assess and respond to maintenance issues, establishing a solid rapport with residents by being knowledgeable and friendly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are seeking a personable and technically skilled individual with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in repairing and maintaining various systems, including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, heating and air systems, and pools. Additionally, they will possess detail-oriented, flexible, and multitasking skills, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies, is also required.
