BMW Technician

We are looking for an A level/Master European flat rate technician! Wasatch Motor Werks has been servicing the BMW community in Utah and neighboring states for the last 8 years. Job Description

• Receiving and carrying-out repair orders as dispatched
• Performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs
• Performing high quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems, including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, electronics, and air conditioning in accordance with factory standards
• Performing quality control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete, and the customer needs have been met
• Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services
• Maintaining an organized and clean workspace while accounting for shop and personal tools at all times
• Communicating directly and efficiently with service writers
• Demonstrating behaviors consistent with employer's values in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Seeking automotive service technicians with at least 8 years experience in a dealership setting and/or reputable independent. (any luxury OEM is a plus; BMW experience in OEM or independent specialty shop is a big plus!)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Automotive technical training or trade School degree is strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license in applicable state and a good driving record
• Strong mechanical & electrical diagnostic aptitude and willingness to learn and absorb new information
• Proficient computer skills required
• Excellent customer service skills are required
• Candidate must have their own appropriate automotive tool set
• Professional appearance and work ethic required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
